Royal Air Force Linton-on-Ouse in North Yorkshire is situated 10 miles north-east of York. Linton was one of the busiest airfields in the country. Tasked with training future fast jet pilots for the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy. The station operated the Shorts Tucano T1. Linton closeed in the late 2020.
